Super cards.

Doublestick Heaven

chwhhopHello there! Today I am very excited to be joining Simon Says Stamp for their Cold Hands, Warm Heart blog hop. If you are following the hop then you should have arrived here from the one of my favorites, Jennifer McGuire’s blog. This is a super duper fun winter release. I love products that make you smile and allow you to make cards that make others smile. This new Ugly Sweater stamp set is absolutely hilarious. I’m not sure what’s better, the images or the sentiments. They both just make me laugh.
SSS~Ugly SweaterI had so much fun creating my custom ugly sweaters with all of the fun little images that come in the sets as well as the coordinating dies. I did some masking, Copic coloring as well as adding details with a white Signo gel pen and glossy accents. I know some people who would…

Mama Elephant Up Up and Away Stamp Set

Caring Heart 40

I just love Mama Elephant Stamps. This one is called Up Up and Away. It comes with coordinating dies. I made this card before I bought the coordinating dies so I fussy cut out the animals. I combined sentiments from several different sets to make the sentiment as it was made for a special individual who was retiring from a volunteer group we belong too. The large heart stamp at the bottom is from Hero Arts Stamp Set Year Round Sentiments. It is an Operation Write Home Set (OWH).

Getting to Know Me

Hi Everyone!  This is my first blog so I thought I would tell you a little bit about myself. I have been stamping for 15 years now. I started when my friend invited me to a Stampin’ Up Party she was hosting and got hooked on making my own cards. I have done some scrapbooking but my mine focus has always been making my own cards. With everything in life, I got busy and was unable to continue making my cards but it was always in the back of my mind that someday I would get back to it.

Fast forward to today, I am now able to devote many hours a week to  making cards. So in between volunteering my time to Birthright Crisis Pregnancy Center, watching my grandchildren and keeping up with home chores I am rubber stamping every chance I get.

My favorite stamps to use are the polymer clear stamps. I still have several Stampin’ Up Stamps that I continue to use but mostly I use polymer clear stamps.

I would love to hear what you are involved in. Do you mainly do scrapbooking or are you into card making, or do you do both, or other paper making projects?

In the future I will be sharing some of my favorite stamp sets with you.  In the meantime, I look forward to hearing from you.
